“Nurturing the Soul”

Mission Statement:

“The Art Gallery of New Geneva endeavors to honor the Master Creator by offering responsible artistic projects to the community. The hope is to educate, refresh, and encourage all who enter in through the blessings of the arts as God intended them to do.”

Philosophy & Worldview

The Art Gallery of New Geneva is a unique art institution in that it holds to a Biblical worldview of the arts and is not swayed necessarily by popular trends or the secular art world. Although it is open to considerations, its foundational appreciation for the arts is rooted in the precepts found in Scripture.

What is Art?

It seems that anything and everything in our day is valued as “art.” The arts are very subjective, but should they be? God allows great creative latitude concerning wonder and imagination, but through His Holy Word He also teaches us what real art is, including how and why to produce it. This lecture explores fundamental Biblical principles, definitions, and examples relating to the arts which all Christians must adhere to if they truly seek to honor their Creator.
